On Tuesday we had a nice welcome back to school. We made stars to write our new year's resolution on.

Literacy:

In literacy we were introduced to a new film, The Piano, which is a sad story of a man remembering some bad memories and good memories from his life. 

Maths:

In maths we were doing measuring with protractors, to find the angles in shapes. then we found the missing angle by knowing that 4 sided shapes equal 360 degrees and triangles equal 180 degrees.

D&T:

In D&T we are starting to make a moon buggy first we got a sheet and we answered the first two pages and drew one of the moon buggies. 

Topic:

In Topic we are starting a topic called Crime and Punishment. We think it is going to be really interesting because I don't know very much about punishments and we discussed some interesting questions. History is really fun and gruesome. 

RE: In RE were are learning about religious art. We learnt that art is very effective. We think it will be very interesting.    

Science:

We created a poster about a planet of our choice, to show what we have learned about it so far. Our new topic is Space, and we are looking forward to it because I can bring in my space book. Space is mind blowing and we cannot even get our heads around it.
