Literacy

In literacy we have been looking at the clip The Piano. As a class , we have been discussing our emotions when we watch the video. How do you feel when you watch The Piano?

Topic

In topic this week we have been looking at how the Romans punished their villains.We have found out that certain crimes had different punishments.Can you guess the punishments for these crimes:

Big write

In big write we had Mr Edwards teaching with Miss Bick. We had a fun time mastering punctuation kung fu. This was preparation for a letter to Ms Buckley to convince her to let us have mobile phones in school. We will now choose a lolly stick and you can demonstrate a kung fu move.

Good Learner


Our good learner this week is........LILY!
Now Izzy will interview Lily.

Izzy: Why do you think you were chosen as the good learner?

Lily: I think I was good learner because I started the new term with a great attitude to learning.

Izzy: How did you feel when you were chosen?

Lily: When Miss Bick called my name out I thought it was just a dream. 

Izzy: Thank you Lily!

D&T

In D&T we have been planning and drawing moon buggies. We have a booklet that each lesson D&T we fill in one to two pages.We designed the look of our moon buggy.

ICT 

In ICT we have been doing scratch and we have been preparing to make our own video game.
We learnt how to make our sprite change colour and place.

Science

  
In science we have been looking at the Sun, Earth and Moon. Miss Bick chose three volunteers to represent the earth sun and moon, and the way that they orbit each other. We know that it takes 24 hours for the earth spin on its axis and 365 1/4 days for the earth to go around the sun. 

Music

In music we have been composing a piece of music for a senario. Most of us did: the spy, haunted house or alien invasion. We had a great time using all the different instruments.

PE

In PE we have been doing gymnastics. This week we had a variety of different equipment. We have been preparing for a display that is going to get filmed.

Jokes

There were once three brothers: Shut-up, Manners and Trouble. One day they were playing hide and seek; Manners hid up a tree, Trouble was counting, and Shut-up got himself lost.

Shut-up went to the police station and told the police officer,''I'm lost,please can you help me find my brothers.'' ''What's your name boy.'' ''Shut-up.'' Now don't you say that to me, where are your manners!'' ''Manners is up a tree!'' ''Are you looking for trouble!?'' ''No!, Trouble's looking for me!!!!!!!''
