This weeks blogger is Nick Powdrell

On Monday, we split into groups of 22 and 23 to start our week without the year sixes.

On Tuesday, we went on a walk around St.Albans in groups of 9 and answered a few sheets of questions on our way round.

On Wednesday, we had our main trip to Aldbury and Tring. Aldbury was a nice village but unfortunatly the weather wasn't as good as we thought. In the natural museum, we toured around it for a while and to finish of we learnt about skeletons.

On Thursday, we went on google maps to see differences between Aldbury and St Albans and started drawing and painting a house from Aldbury.

On Friday, we were finishing off work from the rest of the week and painted our pictures of houses in Aldbury in water colours.

Geography
In Geography we have been learning about mountains. We went to the brambles, the new outdoor classroom, and we were given sheets to fill out.  We went to brambles around looking for information about mountains. After that we looked in an atlas for different mountain ranges.

If you where drawn onto a table and you where 2D would you be able to see your friend if he or she was drawn onto a bit of paper would you be able to see them.

Hope you have enjoyed this blog and are looking forward to next week’s blog and also remember to check the news letter that comes out tonight.

Clever maths answer: no all you would see was the thick line of paper.
You can see this if you get a book and look directly at the side of the page you can’t see the picture.
